There’s something incredibly inspiring about seeing the creatives you follow on Instagram absolutely smashing it. Jorge Artola and his team recently took home an Emmy for their work on the title sequence of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, and rightly so. If you haven’t seen the series yet, it’s well worth a watch.
From the very first episode, I was in love with the graphics. Not once did I skip the opening credits – a rare honour in the age of the “Skip Intro” button. It got me thinking about other shows and movies with opening/closing sequences that are just too good to fast-forward.
So, in celebration of exceptional title design, here are ten of my all-time favourites:
Snatch
The Flight Attendant
Dabba Cartel
Captain America The Winter Soldier
Spider-Man Across The Spider-Verse
Only Murders In The Building
The Grand Budapest Hotel
Lupin
Star Wars: Skeleton Crew
Percy Jackson And The Olympians
How about you guys, what are some of your favourites?
