The Britain-Nepal Society
Mr Roger Potter MBE, Chairman
Design Brief:
- The Britain-Nepal Society approached me looking to update their printed membership form. They wanted a design that was both traditional and timeless, while also conveying the fusion of their two cultures.
- As photographs are better at grabbing attention, I decided to use a collage of photographs taken by myself and Dr Mark Watson while in Nepal. Combining the blue and red from the flags of the United Kingdom and Nepal resulted in a layout that was uncomplicated and inviting.
What Roger had to say:
- “The Britain-Nepal Society is delighted with the new membership flier produced by Ranjit. Ranjit could not have been more helpful and ensured that we ended up with an excellent result. She was imaginative in suggesting a range of preliminary designs, rapidly assimilating our requirements. She worked quickly but was always available to discuss our concerns large or small. We would not hesitate to use her again.”
