Hello!

I’m Ranjit, an Edinburgh-based artist whose journey began in the world of graphic design before drifting, quite naturally, into something far more instinctive and expressive.
For over 15 years, I ran In Motion Designs, a freelance studio that allowed me to collaborate with an eclectic mix of clients, from NHS Scotland and the Embassy of Nepal to the University of Aberdeen and countless small businesses carving out their own identities. It was a vibrant chapter, full of problem-solving, precision, and the quiet satisfaction of bringing ideas to life.
But somewhere along the way, the spark that first drew me to design began to dull. So I stepped back. I returned to my roots, immersed myself in learning again, sought out advice from other creatives, and experimented with new mediums. What started as personal exploration soon grew into an entirely new artistic language and one that felt unmistakably mine.
Today, I work as a graphic artist, blending the discipline of design with bold, expressive form. My pieces have travelled further than I ever expected, appearing in public art showcases across New York, Milan, Amsterdam, and Barcelona. Seeing my work resonate with audiences around the world has been both grounding and rewarding.
Design will always sit at the heart of what I do, but this newer, more intuitive path has opened doors I never knew were there. And honestly… I think I’m just getting started.
